Pros

- None Whatsoever. - It was a horrible experience working in this company.

Cons

- The company culture is very toxic. Workers are pitted against each other and not united to collaborate. A culture of blame is prevalent in this company. - Staff turnover is very high. Employees are constantly joining and resigning after a few months. It's like a revolving door. - The company is a father-son family business. The founder and boss is old (about 70 years old) and the son is not as capable. This company is good for on the job training to gain experience but not for long term career prospects. - Salary is very low and the company sub-contracts out a lot of work to Myanmar and India. - Management leadership is non-existent. The company does a lot of marketing to secure new contracts but projects are poorly executed. Most of the project work is sent to low cost base countries like Myanmar and India where labor is cheap. Practically no design capability in their Singapore office which mainly comprises project managers to handle time scheduling only. - If the aging boss retires, many of the senior workers will most likely not stay on in the company. Definitely not a place for young, budding engineers to seek a rewarding long term career.

Pros

Nothing I can think of or maybe if you couldn't get a job, you can work temporarily in this company.

Cons

They had no respect of people, force some employees work for more than standard hours. Anyhow give warning letters to longest serving employees, also cut seniors employee basic pay and changed them as contract instead of full-time staff. The turnover staff of the company is extremely high, every month expect few people resigned or being sacked.

Pros

* Colleagues of different nationalities * Able to work on project of different ship types

Cons

* Management have little to none effort for onboarding new colleagues * Zero training programme offered for new employees and yet still expected to produce work within tight time frame and limited know-how * Office atmosphere is dull and gloomy * Horrible and non-existent work/life balance. "Peer pressure" to see who can do free over-time
