Pros

Honestly...Hard to find anything positive about Seaboard. Anyone I talk to has a very poor opinion about Seaboard. The joke out here is you are the "Westcan of the East Coast".

Cons

Wages.. Seaboard is cutting wages of Alberta employees to match Eastern Canada. I am an owner operator working for a company bought out by Seaboard. |They recently quit giving us our fuel rebate/subsidy resulting in over 15-20% cut in pay after fuel insurance and plates. The average owner operator is making anywhere from $1500-$2000 less a month for the same trips as opposed to last year. Many have quit and most of us are looking elsewhere. Company drivers are also extremely dissatisfied with how things are going. It is now to the point that after fuel insurance and plates and maintenance and truck payment, the average owner operator is making $20 an hour. Not enough to live on.

Cons

This company's goal is to takeover every Petroleum tanker job across the country throwing everybody else out of business, and they will stop at nothing to achieve this goal. and when this happens they will start making profit .So I hereby call upon every fellow driver .. please help stop this disaster by not pulling any seaboard load.
