Pros
- The people: This is a special group of individuals that truly care about the quality of their work. They go out of their way to help one another, and challenge each other to grow. - Startup culture: You get the opportunity to contribute in a big way from day one. The hours are flexible and the atmosphere is relaxed, though you should expect to work hard. - Fun company outings: Cubs game, Lagunitas Brewery tour, and Wine & Web, just to name a few. - Great location near the Irving Park Brown line. The neighborhood is really blossoming with a bunch of great restaurants, breweries, and businesses.
Cons
- Startup culture: Everyone is responsible for the quality of the end product, and that can mean having to work in areas outside of your comfort zone because everyone else is too busy. I imagine this will get better as the company grows and responsibilities become more siloed.
