Thank you for such a glowing review and for sharing your experiences at Searchbloom. It’s incredibly gratifying to know that you consider this the best job you've ever had. We pride ourselves on offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and flexible work options, and I'm pleased these factors have positively impacted your experience with us. Your point about employee churn is well-taken. We understand that maintaining a stable team is crucial for both morale and productivity. We are continually looking into ways to improve our retention strategies to ensure our talented team members feel valued and choose to grow with us over the long term. Regarding your advice on pricing strategies, this is an important area for us as we aim to remain competitive without compromising the quality and value we deliver to our partner clients. We are committed to refining our approach to ensure our services are both excellent and economically viable for our them as well as us. Thank you once again for your feedback and dedication. It’s insights like yours that help us improve and continue making Searchbloom a great place to work. Warmest Regards, Cody Jensen CEO, Searchbloom

Pros

In your role as an SEO analyst, you will have a lot of support from the content and development teams. This is very stress relieving and will make your life as an analyst a lot easier. Once you have partners assigned to you and you fully transition into the partnership, you will have the autonomy to decide the strategy which I thought was pretty rewarding. Overall, a very positive work environment. Searchbloom has great benefits including completely paying for your health premiums. Compensation was definitely above average, but at the same time probably could have been adjusted slightly upwards to really compete. On the team, you can find plenty of super smart people who you can talk to and learn a lot about SEO from. Searchbloom also provides a lot of extra curricular training material if you take the time to go through it. There are courses such as Brian Dean's SEO That Works Course, Glen Allsop's Blueprint Program, and more. The job being fully remote was also highly appreciated. In terms of managing workloads, Searchbloom does an outstanding job making sure you don't have too much on your plate. The CEO and the entire team are always available to help you with any questions, ideas, or feedback. You are not micromanaged here either which is a huge plus.

Cons

Like any digital marketing agency, especially if you deal with clients, I found it to be somewhat stressful at times. I never had to stay late or anything like that though thankfully. As Searchbloom is a young company, there is no really established "development pipeline" as said in other reviews. If you are a good Sr. SEO Analyst, eventually you will have the opportunity to become a team lead and possibly eventually manage the SEO department, but it would be nice to have the ability to grow with the company in other directions and/or on a more solidified schedule. Searchbloom has a custom task management system which can cause frustration if you run into bugs and it doesn't work the way it should.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed and positive review of your time with Searchbloom. It’s heartening to hear that you felt well-supported by the team and that you valued the autonomy in your role as an SEO Analyst. Our aim is always to create an environment that is both supportive and empowering, allowing our team members the freedom to innovate and excel in their roles. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the benefits we offer, including the coverage of health premiums and our commitment to maintaining manageable workloads. We understand the importance of a balanced work life, especially in a fully remote setting, and we strive to ensure our team feels supported in every aspect of their roles. Your feedback about the stresses associated with client work and the desire for more structured career development paths is also invaluable. We recognize that as a growing company, there are always areas to improve, such as solidifying our development pipeline and enhancing the custom task management system to avoid frustrations. Thank you for your advice to continue on our path and for understanding the pressures of managing a dynamic company like ours. We are committed to continual improvement and to supporting our team in every possible way. Thank you again for your contributions to Searchbloom and for your constructive feedback, which will help guide our efforts moving forward. Warmest Regards, Cody Jensen CEO, Searchbloom

Pros

The CEO is one of the best people I have ever met. He cares about every single employee and their success. He is truly one of a kind. Wicked smart as well. You get to work on a wide range of interesting clients, gaining valuable experience in eComm, B2B, and more. Work-life balance is solid + flexible work hours. The pay is good relative to similar agency positions. They just hired a new SEO director who is great and will be implementing a lot of positive change.

Cons

PTO and Sick Days are combined at 14 days total. The flexibility can make up for this, but it never sat right with me. Not a deal-breaker - more of an annoyance.

Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to hear such kind words, especially from someone who spent several years helping build and grow Searchbloom. I’m grateful for the impact you made during your time here and for highlighting the breadth of experience our team members gain working across diverse verticals like eComm and B2B. We’re also excited about the direction our SEO department is heading under our new leadership, and I agree—great things are ahead. Regarding PTO, I appreciate you sharing your perspective. While we've aimed to offer flexibility through our remote structure and flexible hours, feedback like yours helps us continue evolving our benefits to better support our team. Wishing you continued success in all you do—you’ll always be part of the Searchbloom story. Cody Jensen Founder & CEO, Searchbloom
