      - Base pay/pay was solid along with equity comp - Cool company retreats/off-sites

      Cons

      - Was let go from company (along with 20% of the company) after being told there would absolutely be no layoffs just a month prior - only received 6 weeks severance - The layoffs occurred after entire company trip (100 people) to Iceland where everything was paid for - Company mission is unclear - products are developed without ever being monetized - The core product is not financially beneficial to all clients , however as a sales rep you're pushed to sell it/hit your numbers

      Pros

      We work in a complex and niche industry that helps other fellow startup employees. The startup equity problem is complex and perfect for problem solvers that are looking to be challenged on a day to day basis. There is immense satisfaction from helping our startup peers and it's very rewarding. The company culture is fantastic from the top on down. There is a heavy emphasis on hiring talented individuals, but better people. There are offices in San Francisco, New York, and Amsterdam. Being on the US side, it's been really fun interacting with colleagues in Amsterdam that come from all over the world. Everyone cares about the company mission and each other.

      Cons

      Working in different time zones can be challenging as you have to be flexible. The products we are building are incredibly complex so you need to be willing to get your hands dirty and learn.
