Do Not Even Think For Working This Company!!!!!

They pay me. One good thing I can say is none of my paychecks have bounced. And as often happens with them? When my paycheck is screwed up yet again? They will correct the error - eventually.

Cons

Most downtown Chicago buildings are Union. SEIU Local 1, as a mater of fact. The above average pay we get is because we are union. This company is so hostile toward the union - they think our contract is just a suggestion! They believe because they say it so, it must be so. And don't you go running to to the union. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Company is full of liars. Transistioned from a different security vendor. Securamerica promised the world, than back tracked on their words a couple months in. HR, account managers, and director are a joke. Always on a power trip wanting to fire everyone. Claim they are the hardest workers on the site. Can never get a hold of them. Payroll is always wrong. So many more issues I could talk about.

First time job recommendation but dont commit for the long term.

Pros

Three sets of shifts to fit your schedule. Decent job for anyone trying to work and attend college because of certain laid back sites. Easy access to network with other companies.

Cons

Very low pay ($10 base pay). Supervisor pay ($11-$12). Not much opportunity to move up within the company unless you have a bachelors degree pertaining to the field. Management doesn't really back their officers as much, it's pretty much all about the client. The company very rarely gives raises, I've been here 5yrs and haven't received a raise (still making $10). Management talks about giving opportunity but doesn't put their words to action.
