Pros

- Nice office - Gives back (charity, diversity) - Great team members

Cons

- Boarder line toxic culture stemming from above. They don't see it and will deny as they refuse to listen or learn. Instead staff vote with their feet hence high turnover rates - Values are not practiced. Need to lead by example to gain the respect they demand. - Product does not live up to the hype. Delayed product enhancements and outdated features which customers are frustrated with. - Little to no customer success support for smaller customers. Cost of support is a higher priority than customer satisfaction, hence poor retention and growth rates - They hire experienced people but just want them to do what their told. Not interested in listening, learning, improving, evolving or empowering... - Customer Success, in effect, runs the company and do not (or do not know how to) partner with sales. It doesn't matter what sale (new or renew) has occurred they will slant it to be a Customer Success win. CS are a silo and alienate themselves from other teams but don't see it and will deny it.

Pros

-The long timers in the business are lovely supportive people. -Hybrid workplace, while not unique is a saving grace to a terrible work culture. -The product has potential, and should they figure out a way to actually have a proper strategy then it has a potential to be an awesome game changer.

Cons

- Culture is toxic, when I first joined one of the first things that was impressed upon me was the CEOs focus on culture. This overtime became a source of disillusionment for employees! - Recent C suite hires, particularly the CMO and CFO have really highlighted that integrity, transparency (the CMO does not know how to communicate her plans or vision to her team!, team play, respect (the CFO has yelled and sworn at staff in meetings) and unity is not something the hiring team or the CEO value anymore ( incidentally integrity and respect are part of the values their P&C team spout, don’t be fooled!) - employees are stressed, there is division and an ‘us versus them’ feel between functions. This is passed down from the C-suite. - I have seen the CEO callout people on slack, I’ve also seen an email come from him admonishing people for talking and asking questions about why certain people have left… imagine you’ve been working with someone on a project or a task and then out of the blue they aren’t in the business anymore and no announcement or opportunity to say goodbye…. Yep that’s the type of culture that we’re referring to.

Pros

Supportive colleagues Nice offices Decent product

Cons

Lousy senior and middle management (think mum and pop shop) Punching above their weight (they're a Noddy car but believe they're a Ferrari) Toxic culture CEO , CFO, CMO are the three horseman of the apocalypse. Vile, nasty pieces of work. If they ran Apple, maybe they could get away with it but for a small business like this, gimme a break.
