Pros

standard benefits - dental, medical, vision, retirement.

Cons

When I first got this job I loved it, They would give you more tasks to do and " promote" you but not give you any compensation for more work. Favoritism and nepotism is a real issue within this company. They will get rid of good employees and keep the lazy ones, especially during the current downsizing. Job tasks overlap. No clear description of job responsibilities. Strong lack of support for management and training is lacking.

Pros

Pros: -Decent benefit (401k matching vested after 5 years of working there, dental and health insurance, and fairly decent PTO) -Strict 8am to 5pm schedule (won't have to bring work home at all)

Cons

I've worked at Security 1st Title for almost 2 years with no prior related experience. The interview process was fairly easy, but the job itself and the management are a disaster. I started out in data entry and eventually moved to other team within the same department. I was moved to a team that requires detailed analysis as I was often told that I excel in my work, but these transition did not increase my pay at all and I had to literally beg for it. I brought up the issue about my pay at least twice to my manager, and I was told that it would be taken care of, but they never did until I kept pushing them and showing my track records. Not only that, one of the teammates that I was working with would always try to pick the easy report to work on, and leave the harder reports to the others. The manager not only did not realize this, but also praises them often because they were good friends. The manager would often spill their anger on you when things don't go well. Whenever you have a question about your work, the manager is often too busy to deal with you and if you somehow make even a small mistake, it's almost like the end of the world. You get blamed and yelled at, but no one was there to help out when you're having trouble or questions. The HR is a joke too with how they're micro-managing the employees. It wasn't until I mentioned that I'm leaving that they try to offer me "better" benefits. Cons: -Management plays favorite -No one's there for you and your questions -Office drama -Low pay for the amount of detailed work you're required to do -Lazy colleague (brought up the issue with manager, but it was never dealt with) -HR will call you out publicly even if you're a couple seconds late -No job advancement -Management never keep their promises (I was promised a promotion and pay raise verbally, but the management never took care of it until I kept pushing) -Always being treated like you're not doing good enough by the company -Company treats you like an item instead of a person (the county manager once pulled everyone into a meeting and told everyone to work harder and gain more skill so we can be a better asset, without any mentions of pay increase at all) -Management often gaslighting you for their own issues

Pros

The company as a whole is great, their training programs are thorough, and they offer some awesome benefits to their employees. The Wichita management team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to any issues requiring their assistance.

Cons

This company is so dedicated to providing great service to their customers, that the well-being of their employees sometimes falls to the wayside. The support and department organization for offices that lie outside of the Wichita area is limited, which puts a lot of pressure, long hours, and road trips on their employees, and tends to make their management “cranky” to say the least.
