      Pros

      I enjoyed my time with SNFC until it was time for promotion. They offered to promote me but pay me far less than the man doing the same job. I was a longtime, loyal employee until that experience. It was completely insulting. George Quist passed away. His son and grandsons are now in charge. It is not an improvement.

      Cons

      The company only values its male family employees. The only female executive is a relative. She is good at her job and loyal to the company but has vice president title when her brothers have/had President titles.

      Was good and was once proud to work there, but once terrible changes were made I am no longer happy.

      Pros

      Mainly 8:00 am to 5:00 pm work days during the week. Work one Sunday per month, and two Saturdays per month. 2 weeks paid vacation each year, paid sick time, 401k, good co-workers for the most part.

      Cons

      No follow-through with client families for the most part. Everyone is given a task to do each day, and that's all they are supposed to do for the most part. There are some exceptions but they have departmentalized our funeral home so there are groups of us that only focus on one thing, nearly 100% of the time. This does not allow for variety and makes it more like an 8-5 job instead of a place that used to be enjoyable to work.

      Pros

      Building is gorgeous and snacks/drinks are nice but don't let that fool you.

      Cons

      This is like working for the devil himself. The owner, his sons and their family are horrible people. I cannot believe they are blessed with wealth, the way they treat people who work hard for them. If you are female, good luck to you even more! It's a boys club and they don't value women.
