      Such a shame

      Pros

      Some highly capable people, good social aspect, some opportunities to use initiative and develop career, opportunity to make a positive social impact.

      Cons

      Disastrous governance, blame culture, politics, in-fighting, lack of accountability and transparency, pay inequality, lack of HR, career progression blocked by people pursuing personal agendas, teams and projects undermined.

      You were and are clearly passionate about Sedex and the opportunity for Sedex to make a difference. It is clear that things have not always been as transparent and open as perhaps they could have been. We welcome an inclusive and open dialogue and that is the current approach for our business. As we mentioned to you before you left, we welcome the feedback as this is how good businesses move forward and make a difference. Many things have already changed since September 2015 and continue to do so, and none of us are perfect, but we are much stronger together as has very recently been demonstrated.

      As someone who recently left us, you will be aware the changes that are being promoted and taking place in the business. The introduction of a professional management structure started earlier this year, and is a first for Sedex in its growth. All of the business is being consulted on next generation Sedex, and how we take our business forward, with the right strategy, roles, structure and rewards for our staff and partners. We are sorry you left us, and understand and respect your concerns.

      Bad, bad, bad

      Pros

      Great people people but practically half the company have voted with their feet over the last year or so, so few people left now

      Cons

      Very dodgy Teflon coated senior staff. Lack of direction, unless you count a serious spin operation as leadership. Barely disguised antique attitudes at the top, more surprising given the company role.
