      Recent changes will negatively impact employee satisfaction

      Positive office environment in CLT

      Cons

      The merger has been mismanaged by the parent company and the recent change in CEO to include the founder of the smaller company proves that it was a take over from the beginning. The people the new CEO trusts from his company are the worst offenders in creating a toxic environment. So the change the culture gaslighting begins. The culture was great before the merger, now if you don't do things "their" way you are alienated and targeted.

      Since Cox take over things have really gone wrong

      The benefits package is good.

      Cons

      Unless you're at the Charlotte HQ you're going to struggle with the company. Cox's acquisition drove much talent out the door. Not enough staff for service delivery and turn up times for service is well over 6 months. No good tools to do your job if you're in sales.

      Management has issues

      Pros

      Peers across teams are great, smart, and friendly. The recent CEO change (not Hart anymore, but Anderson) might be the glimmer at the end of a very long tunnel that left many disillusioned and demotivated. At least he sounds more honest than anyone prior to him throughout the many acquisitions.

      Cons

      My direct management chain has no "leaders", just managers/bosses. Command, control, fear, dismissal. Well-protected, surrounded by "yes-men", glib in explaining everything away, and no desire to improve or even listen to suggestions on how to improve the environment. The canned HR responses in here with "we care, we perform questionnaires" are great for show, but after all, most HR anywhere doesn't work for the employee, but for the employer. The more you 'suck it up and shut up', the better you will do.
