Pros

Due to the size of the company, you will learn a great deal in a short amount of time.

Cons

The speed of data acquisition does not leave time to determine what it means and that is done deliberately. There is not positive feedback to employees. Blame is placed rather than trying to solve a problem.

Pros

-Tons of learning opportunities for all skills in all areas -Great leadership who led the company through tricky times -Went public with one phase I asset, had lots of hype around the technology/portfolio -Location away from craziness of Cambridge/Kendall, great for those who drive to work

Cons

-Highly unlikely Selecta will ever launch a product. I can’t elaborate on why I believe this though -Shift in focus over the years is a symptom of a biotech which has struggled to define itself after major failures -90%+ stock price dip from IPO and fleeing institutional investors hamper ability to acquire funding -Major issues uncovered which never should have been issues to begin with, some of which were egregious -Location isn’t great for public transit users
