They always say that you should work at a place that you love because, in your working years, it is where you spend most of your time. Your time is valuable - so make everything you do count. Well, the reason I have been at the company for many years and why I am still here is because it challenges me, has provided me with opportunities that I never thought that I would have and of course, the people. I can see the impact that SI can have on the environmental world. What we do and the choices we make impacts far beyond only the people we surround ourselves with.

Having been at the company full-time for a bit after on/off contracting in previous years, its obvious that SI has been going through some growth and the growing pains associated with it. Right now, it's an absolute pleasure to work here with a clear effort being made by management and HR to foster a positive culture and a work environment that benefits the employees as much as the company. Other noteworthy positives: - Excellent people, both in terms of technical ability and to get along with/socialise with - Training and skills opportunities are readily available and continue to improve - Company events are fun and often - Management always reacts to feedback and visibly acts accordingly
