Pros

Free fruit, Sanhy Bass in the vending machine and a few good co-workers.

Cons

Old technology with no plan to update. CEO spends most of the day taking phitos to post on Facebook that have no relevance to the business, I have heard comments from customers that it damages the business. Money wasted on sponsering Lincoln City football club that could be better used in the business. CTO has now recruited a bunch of school leavers to do most of the coding leaving very few experienced coders and QA’s. Generally Toxic atmosphere.

There's too many inaccuracies here for this to be a genuine review. But, just in case..... The tech is certainly not old and our investment in the latest stuff continues. Taking photos to post on Facebook...no idea what that's about. Sponsoring Lincoln City FC has been a phenomenal success for us and has delivered a positive ROI and has helped massively with our recruitment. The 'bunch of school leavers'? They are apprentices from Lincoln College who we are training to be our next wave talent and management. We're really impressed with the quality of students coming from the Lincoln Colleges and University, so much so that we've now been able to bring all Dev and QA back into Lincoln. If this is genuine I would happily discuss these points. PS - We haven't even got vending machines. :-)

Pros

The make you welcome, staff great, good products in main. Free coffee & fruit.

Cons

Below average wages even for Lincolnshire, Below average pay rises if any. Reason they can't find/retain good staff? Management talks a good game and even believes what they say. Long hours expected, unpaid overtime, outdated code, outsourcing development to India. Hence the panic to spend 60hr+ weeks repairing code. Junior management play favorites if you in the clique you are OK, if not watch your back. Ageist culture, over 40's tolerated at best. High staff turnover.

Hi there. We're so sorry you feel this way. We're always ready to listen so if you wanted to come and say hi and we can talk through these points. We certainly can't claim to get it right all the time but we are eager to provide the very best environment for our colleagues to do their thing. The annual "company kickoff" meeting is the one opportunity we get to bring all the teams together to thank them for their amazing output. The lunch, presentations and evening meal in Lincoln Castle was intended to recognise this..we are sorry that you thought it was silly, that certainly wasn't our intention. Neil - CEO (aged 50 :-)
