We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We take all claims of bullying very seriously and any reports which are brought to our attention are investigated, and where appropriate, action is taken. We have policies in place to prevent inappropriate behaviour of any kind and there are various channels for employees to come forward should they experience or observe any such behaviour. All feedback is reviewed by the Board of Directors collectively to ensure any improvements that need to be made are implemented, which is essential to maintaining our Great Place to Work and Investors in People Gold status. We are really proud of our culture here at Sellick Partnership and work hard to continuously look at ways we can improve things for our employees every single day. As you have mentioned, we enjoy a variety of social events throughout the year, including three big companywide events where we bring the whole business together. We have recently enjoyed our latest Teambuilding event in Durham and have had lots of positive feedback from employees about conducting these types of events again after the pandemic, and we are very much looking forward to our annual Christmas party in December too. If you have any further feedback or want to have a confidential discussion about any of the points you have raised, please do not hesitate to contact Jo Sellick directly. Alternatively, you can speak to Simon Briffa our Internal Talent & Wellbeing Manager.

Pros

Generally good salary, good commission structure, company events

Cons

Horrific culture of sexism, racism and bullying from senior staff who appear to be untouchable, despite their despicable behaviour. There is no point raising this issue with other managers as it will be denied (or worse, it will be believed but you will be told ‘they don’t mean it’). Very high turnover of staff due to extremely long working hours, intense pressure and nasty digs and jibes.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We take all claims of discrimination very seriously and any reports which are brought to our attention are investigated, and where appropriate, action is taken. We have policies in place to prevent harassment and discrimination of any kind and there are various channels for employees to come forward should they experience or observe any inappropriate behaviour. We strive to create an inclusive and respectful work environment that reflects Sellick Partnership’s core values. In line with our commitment to providing a safe and encouraging environment for all our people, in 2019 we appointed several Diversity Champions in the business to spearhead and implement our equality and diversity strategy. As with all of our Committees across the business, our Diversity Champions are made up of volunteers that have a particular interest in diversity, and ensuring Sellick Partnership is an equal and inclusive employer. Our employees’ health and wellbeing is also very important to us, and we have recently appointed a Health and Wellbeing Manager to implement wellbeing strategies ensuring we are always supporting employees in all areas of the business. Thank you for your positive feedback on our salary and commission structure. We have worked hard to ensure we offer an extremely competitive commission structure which is uncapped, rewarding our employees for their hard work. If you have any further feedback, please do not hesitate to contact Simon Briffa, our Internal Talent and Wellbeing Manager, or you can also contact a Director.

Pros

* Great working culture - everyone is encouraged to talk and collaborate with one another *Really social - drinks out, teambuilding, end of financial year awards etc * Managers are brilliant and really want to see employees progress/grow * Empowerment to take on a lot of work * A focus on CSR and always trying to improve the business overall

Cons

- Clear favoritism to the point where some members of the team have enormous egos and became unbearable to work with - It's a sales environment so naturally you're going to get some brash/clashing personalities - Reward and recognition is based on who whines the most, not who works the hardest. -A "me, me, me" culture has definately developed. -They try to make you think the grass isn't greener elsewhere.
