Pros

management over here doesnt know what they do. high level of staff turnover and you can smell that badness very easily. Lot of politics and they are known for bad reputation. complete mess and just another circus inside with lot of dum people.

Cons

waste of time working there and loss of valuable years if you would like to move ahead. upper management doesnt know anything and behave as if like trained dogs

Pros

M2M connectivity has an excellent reputation within Australia. This builds on a solid base of Semtech as a parent company being known as an industry leader for decades. In AU and NZ, M2M Connectivity has excellent customer relationships meaning that customers see us as trusted advisors. This is a privilege and a sign of work done well over previous years. Australian and New Zealand carriers see M2M Connectivity as a partner of choice for hardware distribution and leverage our broad and extensive portfolio of products. At the same time they trust us to re-sell their carriage through the sister company M2M One.

Cons

Like any corporate integration, the process of blending M2M into Semtech's IT systems hasn't always been seamless, however the whole process has been made much more comfortable as kind and reasonable people have been working together to smooth out the bumps.

Pros

- I haven't been laid off (yet). - I'm getting a paycheck. - Benefits are decent, though they are expensive. - New CEO said we could expect quarterly raises if we deserve it, but we'll see... - Just restructured a loan from the acquisition (which is apparently a good thing, even though it tanked our stock price AGAIN). - The end.

Cons

- Seemingly constant layoffs for the past year with no end in sight. - New CEO who not only has zero strategy (other than not backfilling people to drive costs down, and telling everyone that we he doesn't want us here if we're not motivated right now) or goals (he talked about the importance of goal setting in the all hands, then when asked a question about his goals, he admitted he didn't have any!), but he doesn't barely communicate at all. Nearly half our C-suite has left and there's not been a word about it from him. - Sierra acquisition has absolutely killed our stock value. - We're losing good talent everywhere - Cost cuts are the only thing we seem to be doing to make our numbers, when it seems like every time I turn around, there's another 10 people gone in our sales team. - EVERYONE is paranoid about their jobs and I don't know one person who isn't actively looking to leave.
