Pros

Working at Sensible Recycling allowed me to learn a lot in various settings. Things were constantly changing and kept you on your feet daily. When I was employed, we had wonderful people who cared for each other.

Cons

Unfortunately, the cons of working at Sensible Recycling surely outweigh the pros. The owner is too involved in his business, which is understandable to an extent, but detrimental overall. Initially, working at Sensible was a challenging but overall fun experience. Towards the end of my employment, most of my coworkers were severely underpaid, underappreciated, and overwhelmed. Management was wonderful under the previous warehouse manager, but upon his departure, the owner was either too distant or too involved; often making decisions that made no sense or were not beneficial for any parties. I'm not entirely sure how the operation is going as of current, but if it is anything close to what I was involved with, I kindly encourage you to look elsewhere. Sensible Recycling was a learning experience, as mentioned prior, but that includes both the positives and negatives. If you need a source of income, you will be overworked and underpaid, but the benefit? You will have a job.
