We are sorry that you had a negative experience. Management does not hold grudges. Senspex is a corporation and ISO 9001:2015 quality certified. We are a professionally run organization that has been in business since 2002. As mentioned in another review above, since we are a small company, people have multiple responsibilities. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Those who can keep up with the pace have and will continue to be rewarded.

Pros

They trap you with good pay. They hire wonderful people but squash their independence immediately. The most successful people will be people who have never worked for anyone ever.

Cons

CEO will copy your emails to her inbox so she can keep a firm hold of everything that is going on in her company. CEO nit picks grammar on your emails as if she were a teacher. Which is funny because she is not that great of a communicator. CEO claims they are professional and have policies in place to benefit employees but their constant message is "ask not what your company can do for you—ask what you can do for your company". Annoying, since this was said by JFK to tell people to get ready to die for their country as America was on the verge of war. Owners are married and they love to debate in front of employees; Its funny that they debate though because CEO will always "win". Owners have not worked for anyone in decades and therefore they have no idea what it's like to be leaders. CEO consistently talks bad about former employees. CEO micro-manages to a fault as she has ZERO trust. This is probably because she is such a horrible person she assumes everyone is like her. CEO always has to get the last word - you will notice comments on every review. This is true to her nature and will be what you have to endure day in and day out. If she can't get the last word or if she finds you challenge her thought process she will find a reason to get rid of you. She hates being bested which is why she married a man who just goes along with anything she says. CEO will try to obtain your private logins as her own because if you sign in on her network the data belongs to her. Do NOTHING personal at work. She likes to pretend this is because she is a government contractor but that is complete BS, she just doesn't have any trust in people. CEO pits employees against each other. CEO blanket penalizes people. If one person does something wrong she sends emails out to the whole company or makes remarks in her weekly meeting. The whole company has to deal with one person's issue because she has no real spine. It's all done behind your back. CEO has definite favorites. Don't be fooled though, this "honey-moon" is short term and can flip in the blink of an eye...I've seen it first hand. I really could go on and on. I'm sure you will see her blanket comment below. Don't be fooled. You will also see a positive review right after this because she wants the positive review to be the first thing you see. She is shameful.

Pros

If you suck up to the owners you will get consistent raises and be treated well compared to people the co-owners (husband and wife team) dislike. Most of the coworkers are excellent and good people, just stay away from the suck ups that will throw you under the bus for their own gain. Benefit package is decent.

Cons

Co-owners manage by fear. I wouldn't even describe it as managing, they rule like dictators. They are paranoid of everyone and everything, and consistently lie to their employees and applicants. They micromanage everyone. Working at Senspex for an extended period of time warps your self confidence because you forget what working in an environment where trust, transparency, and decent morals are valued and given. Due to the micromanagement, managers have no authority, all decisions regarding someone's employment is made by the owners.
