The C-level team is a mess.

You get to watch a lot of bad anime. Management doesn’t care what it is, if it’s total crap they will go for it. They think all anime will sell, even anime with controversial themes and problematic backgrounds. Think of it this way, if it didn’t make its way to the other major competitor streaming services, it’s for a reason. Management thinks they get the audience but they don’t, also HR complaints are never taken seriously. They claim to have an open door policy but that door must be a revolving door because anytime a complaint is made, it just goes back out into the void. Base pay and salary is horrendous. Management basically abuses everyone under them. Especially since they have everyone overworked and doing the job of 3-5 people. They can see you drowning and you can express you have a lot on your plate but they don’t care, they give you more anyways. And forget asking about a real raise for all of those efforts, they give you between 2.5-3% raise and that’s IF you chase them down long enough even for that. The HIDIVE platform and app is never updated, customers complain about it on a daily, it’s total crap. They don’t invest in their product but they’ll gladly continue to take subscriptions for it. They haven’t updated it since 2018. Remember the talented people you get to meet? Don’t get to know them long enough because so many amazing people have left this company over poor management choices and treatment. I had been there long enough to see multiple departments shrink from 10-15 people to 3-5 people. And those who remain continue to be overworked.
