      Things aren't looking good there

      Pros

      Not many pros to list other than it being an employee owned company. The hours were long and the benefits were ok but didn't make up for the long hours

      Cons

      Management has a hard time seeing eye to eye with employees. Rather than trying to find a place where an employee fits well they just walk them out the door.

      Pros

      Excellent health benefits, onsite doctor, some really nice and dedicated people and a beautiful shop environment. As long as you're in the clique, it's a very family oriented company.

      Cons

      The ESOP culture is the big selling point but unless you've been there over a decade and during the growth phase, it really isn't of much benefit. Middle managers and supervisors are VERY cliquey. If you're not in the club, you will get stabbed in the back. Even the simplest projects suffer from "death by committee" and indecision. CEO is wishy-washy and lacks leadership skills. There are a couple of very good middle managers but several very poor ones who can make life miserable. The best leaders have left; leaving a vacuum. Moving people around in lateral positions is not really career advancement.
