Pros

Co-workers Free snacks and drinks Good location

Cons

- Expected to work/be available 247 - Poor balance between work and personal life - You won't make good money unless you are senior - Nothing is enough for management; we just need to work harder and harder - People are literally zombies since they are so overworked - Management isn't reacting when a lot of people are leaving the company - Management is not listening to the employees - No acknowledgement for the great work some people do - Hard to get pay raise (unless you are a senior) - Culture of silence; concerns have been brought up to management but nothing is done to fix the issues - Talented people are leaving the company - Can't advance on career

Pros

+ It is a financially stable company + Salary can be good (if you are not a junior)

Cons

- Can't influence your own work (no autonomy) - Can't progress on your career (no prospects) - Bad work / life balance and the company is hypocritical about this - Chronically too few employees, meaning most workers do 2-3 jobs but are paid for 1 - Studio is managed by individuals who don't have any backbone - Company is slow to react to issues and is never proactive about anything - Best Fiends became a success because it was different (first, best or different) but management keeps sabotaging this advantage and fails to understand the product's nature and position in the market - Organisation is very top down, which is an odd choice in a specialist heavy organisation that has to compete for its workers - Leadership is insensitive and there's a culture of silence - bringing light to internal issues is a guaranteed way to get into trouble - Only game in development is a live-ops cash cow - there are no new opportunities or room for brainstorming (work is not creative) - Juniors are exploited and underpaid (I wasn't one of them)

Pros

- Super nice office - Good location - Free snacks and drinks - Employees

Cons

- Oh, the curtain of secrecy! Lack of information and communication. - Employees don't get listened to by the management and it is frustrating. - Management knows everything better even though they do not have the expertise of that particular vacancy. - Lack of trust, management doesn't trust that employees would succeed in their roles without overlooking them constantly. Some comments about benefits that they advertise on their website: - Opportunity to work with great people on great content - This is true. Employees are great, but You cannot progress in your career in this company and You cannot influence your work. - Competitive salary - This is partially true. Not true for junior or "regular" employees. - Flexible hours and great work-life balance - This is a joke. They assume that you work around the clock.
