Pros

Well paid if you negotiate well at entry.

Cons

Very disorganized. The owner runs aspects of the business he has no idea of. Hierarchies are not respected. Priorities are not clear, all projects are due for tomorrow.

Questionable employment tactics

Pros

Some of your fellow employees really nice and cool. Team work can be high among "lower ranking" employees. Many younger employees have a-lot of potential.

Cons

Definitely not up to date on by U.S. employment standards. Little room for growth, and a high turnover rate. Responsibilities change quickly and often. Management in Spain will often require more than what is fair, and attempt to intimidate you into working extra hours for free doing tasks completely unrelated to your job description. Goals indicated are often unattainable figures, and there is little support (zero financial support) to achieve goals. Get anything promised in writing. You may experience the sympathy card being played when requesting earned vacation time, or you may be requested to work remotely while on vacation. Higher ranking employees at HQ are often incompetent foreign supervisors who often over promise and under deliver.

Pros

capable lab with inexpensive price point

Cons

Unethical, underhanded, exploitative, unstructured, disorganized in every sense with a novice grasp on how business is LEGALLY conducted in America. Beware of third world intimidation tactics and skewed archaic reasoning to handle business- everyone turns a blind eye to discrimination and harassment. Unrealistic goals are expected with little to no funds correctly allocated to support and execute a logical plan. This company is backwards and whomever is recruited to pick up the pieces from often villainized predecessors is in for a rude awakening with SENSELESS demands and wild goose hunts being imposed by higher ups; little to no grasp on what a healthy work environment is. This is why nothing gets done and credibility has yet to be established by this so called "dermocosmetic" brand. Free thinkers, ingenues and experienced professionals are not welcome here.
