Pros
- Very engaging job. You get full autonomy and ownership over your own work. You write your own articles, go out for your own tastings, get to pitch what you want to write about, etc - No micro-managing as long as you complete your work and hit your KPI, so you can be flexible with your time - There's tons to learn and the entire team is so positive and helps you grow - Lots of communication between the teams & regular performance reviews to keep you on track
Cons
- Learning curve might be steep but it's super rewarding once you get the hang of it - Company is also on the smaller side (as with most media publications) so don't expect really high benefits like medical/AWS/bonus - Workload might get repetitive over the years, so it's up to you to be creative and pitch different things
