High turnover, somewhat boring work, seemed to not want employees who were adults or had children (I was fired due to my son having a medical emergency and needing follow-up care). They walk you out like a criminal and go through your desk without letting you get your things if terminated.

I was fired after getting diagnosed with cancer. I will let you read that again. I was FIRED for having CANCER. I provided more than sufficient documentation, made requests for accommodation, including schedule changes to no avail. Luckily I kept a thorough log of everything with this regard. I asked for a letter stating why I was being "let go" and they told me that if I applied for unemployment, they would say "it was because of performance issues." I never even asked about unemployment, but already they set the stage for lying and trying to deny someone basic living funds. Again, I HAD CANCER. Talk about kicking someone when they're down. Luckily, when I did apply for unemployment the state agreed with me.
