Pros
Not only are the partners passionate about what they do (and in my opinion, the best in the business), they are genuinely good people. If I was still working as a CPA, there's nowhere else I'd want to be. The partners truly care about their team and go above and beyond to provide growth opportunities and reward hard work. They provided open communication and always welcomed my questions so I could learn as much as possible. I worked with them for 12 years and even though it's been almost 3 years since I worked there, I still talk about them all the time. Working with them changed my life in so many positive ways. You won't find another firm like them. I'm so happy I made the decision to switch accounting firms early in my career and join their team. Cons
I honestly can't think of any cons that aren't unique to the public accounting industry. And even then, I always felt the "cons" of the industry were minimized as much as possible while working with ShindelRock.
