      Lack of Leadership/No Financial Strategy

      - really talented smart individual contributors - salary + benefits were really generous

      Cons

      - business direction changed constantly - no financial management - executives didn't bring in experts to build the business - spend a lot of time on ambiguous planning rather than strategic planning and executing

      Worked with very talented engineers at Bonsai

      Cons

      Inexperienced Leadership starting from the CEO. Lied to employees about how stable and well funded the company is during All-Company meetings and laid off 80% of the company. They hired because they can and did a mass lay-off when they hit a wall. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know. ShopBonsai is a sinking ship with leaders who has no idea what they are doing.
