Pros
It is a chance to get experience with retail jewelry sales. Minimal Jewelry experience for anyone trying to get in that field. Segway to pursuing luxury experience.
Cons
The company is a mess. No one is trained correctly. The only full time positions in store are manager/Asm. They genuinely don't care about their workers or their safety. Also a lot of microaggressions towards POC and lacking in diversity at their homeoffice with like 98% white dominated company and 2% POC. Which the 2% is insignificant in the manager field. Since I've been with them it is a revoling door of employees. Pay is still below the average of other companies BUT want to have "TIFFANYS" standards but not tiffanys wage. They are "competitive wage" which means you could be getting paid 9 dollars while a new worker makes 13. Also the lack of concern for the people who work here is astronomical! They made me stay in the store almost 2-3 hours by myself a couple of times until someone came in for a shift or threatened they wouldnt pay me for those hours. I also work in a very high crime rate area and told them multiple times people have been assaulted or stolen from other stores near by, They still didnt have any empathy or concern.
