Pros

Free movies tickets (only 4 per week) Free Popcorn (if not stale, busy) Flexible availability great with working and going to school

Cons

Just a terrible company to work for honestly. They limit the amount of movies you can see and they days that you can see them. You have ZERO benefits. Even the managers don't receive many benefits. No health insurance, just a couple of vacation days in which you have to work a year first to receive just one vacation day. Managers work on the average 55 hours a week and receive no overtime. Their pay is about 25 to 30000 a year. As a floor worker you take the heat for things that are beyond your control. You work extremely hard with little to no recognition. while working hard you are also understaffed and under equipped. Managers can be petty and will give you low hours if they don't like you. This is not coming from a bitter ex employee. I worked really hard to become noticed. I was promoted and left because I found a better job. I still keep in contact with people from this company. This is honestly a terrible company without integrity.

Pros

Free tickets. Staff discount. Not much else.

Cons

Complete lack of communication between staff, middle management and corporate levels with all sides seemingly antagonistic toward each other. Members of management often getting involved in and actively fostering an unfriendly environment of petty gossip, informing staff of confidential information. HR made up almost entirely of middle aged white people deciding what is and isn’t offensive to the people their company has offended. No room for progression. Valuable members of the team pushed out or let go because of bullying and gatekeeping at all levels. Friendships between employees of different levels are inappropriate unless you’re the General Manager, then it’s perfectly fine to show favouritism. I have witnessed ageism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia in the management team.

Pros

Paid on time and coworkers and supervisors were lovely.

Cons

No matter what you did for the higher ups, they'll make sarcastic remarks and especially for tiny mistakes. They didn't acknowledge you when you say hi and talk about you in front of you when you're not coping in an area you're not properly trained in. They do not give references, so if you're looking for better work they won't support you, claiming they don't want to give someone good references and others a bad one, which is ridiculous. No room for growth and put you on paid leave you didn't ask for if you're on part time hours. No job growth opportunities. I was lucky enough to be able to get out of my job for a graduate career by using university references and from my own freelancing customers.b
