The compensation for per session therapists feels a little unfair for the expectations placed on you. They advertise a productivity bonus, but you RARELY can meet it as a per session therapist because school breaks count against you. Unless you are willing to travel to another county (sometimes 1.5 hours+ drive), school breaks all count as "zero" days for your productivity and you can't meet it. You do not get guaranteed raises, and the pay for each therapist is not standardized. I have learned that people who have been working for less time than me are making more than me, and also learned that people who have been working for longer than me are making less than me. I do not like that they do not seem to have a fair compensation and it all depends on how well you can negotiate when you are hired. I know that is standard for a lot of companies, but I just hoped that a company with posted values like Sidekick's would be different.
