Pros

Good benefits, good pay. Some good co-workers.

Cons

No respect for this company. Spent over a month doing a background check and training, only to get laid off less than 2 weeks after my start date. Complete waste of time - cannot put on resume or use as a reference. Clearly no communication between upper management and those that hired me, or else I would never had to have wasted my time being hired in the first place.

Pros

Gun discounts and free coffee.

Cons

I’m only taking the time to write this so hopefully someone else won’t get screwed over by Sig Sauer. Management is very dysfunctional. A lot of the long term employees came from Goss so they stick together. The ones without degrees are the worst because they are so unprofessional. Bullying and clicks are found in every department. Fingers are always being pointed. Everyone that isn’t in the CEO’s inner circle is scared shitless of him. When your boss feels that they can motivate you by fear since that’s the culture there you need to find another job. My manager was useless and blamed everyone else for his mistakes. After a while you get very tired of defending yourself. HR is useless. They just hire and fire. I would stay away unless you don’t mind working in a toxic work environment. HR will respond to this with a generic message. It’s because they know they have serious issues with management. Rather than address them they will just blame others, fire then, hire another sucker and repeat this same process until they have ran out of poor suckers to take advantage of.

Pros

Gun Auctions unlimited overtime get to make guns

Cons

The gun auctions are almost nonexistent Have to work 7 days a week for double time on Sunday They keep taking perks away, no more outings They bring new people in at way more money than employees that have been there longer. They give them a $4000 sign on bonus. They pay for people to move here. The rest of us that have been here get nothing. Management is terrible. Very low morale. They change supervisors and managers every few months. In a meeting we were told we are desperate to hire people, but they have no problem firing anyone. We were told we need Sig, Sig does not need us. Management keeps trying different things to get parts out. They wont wait to see if the first thing worked. Its like the are throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. They ask for input, yet when we say something it is either wrong or they just don't listen. Supervisor tries to micromanage everything. Supervisor likes seeing the shifts fighting with each other. He thinks it produces more parts if we are trying to out do each other. Supervisor comes off as a bully. He doesn't realize or care its just bringing down morale even more. Supervisor is hiding rejected parts and putting them under hold so they aren't reported. Hes trying to make himself look better. Just be honest. Supervisor will say some nasty things, then apologize later for saying it. People are getting tired of it. You are still running the company like there are only a few hundred employees. You have the same managers and supervisors in charge. They haven't grown with the company. You have islands at sig. Some departments do whatever the hell they want. You need to bring in better people. Not from other failed gun company's. There's a lot of good people there, but you keep losing the good ones because of mismanagement.
