Pros

Good co-workers, products can be fun, decent benefits. Small company, lots of exposure and ability to have a lot of responsibility.

Cons

Company has changed completely over the past 2 years. Management used to care about the people, culture, and work environment. With the change in leadership, the change in culture came as well. Culture is not creative and collaborative, but rather hostile. Do not delete any emails, as you will normally have to cover yourself at some point as there is a game of finger pointing with most decisions made. Leadership is quick to criticize you if you have "failed" in their eyes. Leadership does not realize challenges in the marketplace, and has failed to innovate to keep pace with competition. The company does not and will not support departments with the necessary resources to drive the business. Increased responsibility over the job description is common, as you will wear MANY hats on most jobs within Signature Brands. With the resources being so streamlined, the work life balance is horrible. Do not count on ever taking a true vacation, as most of the time emails or calls will normally be made to you during your time off. Meetings and company off sites used to be in fun locations with true team building activities. This is no longer the case as most meetings are now in Ocala.

Pros

It was a job. That's all I can say. They did pay full health benefits for the employee, so I guess there's one pro.

Cons

HR onboards you at low pay with promises of raises to come that never manifest despite positive performance reivews. Poor work/life balance for salaried employees (hourly employees were safe due to no overtime policy). I knew salaried people who regularly worked 12-hour days. Culture of fear of uncaring, unprofessional management Expectations not clearly communicated up front Hostile work environment "If you don't like it, there's the door" attitude Failure to make employees feel valued

Pros

Co workers get along very well, like a family like atmosphere. Always willing to help each other out. Insurance benefits are paid for by the company. Holidays off. Plenty of work. Opportunities for growth.

Cons

It looks like such a nice place to work, until you get in there, then Noone smiles, most of the workers are miserable and are looking for work elsewhere. You will never hear any compliments for ANYTHING unless another coworker gives it to you. Nothing is ever good enough and they have made it a unpleasant place to work by demanding more and more everyday. The workers no longer care about the quality of their work because they are too busy trying to pump the product out by the truckloads as fast as possible with only two 15 minute breaks the whole shift.
