Pros

- can leave on the dot - very slow paced - flexibility to claim time off - good for old employees for retirement as it is not a challenging environment (this is also a con for young employees)

Cons

- They don’t invest employee in professional training (all internal training) - Primitive culture. a lot of above middle aged employees and they are not open to accept new change and ideas. Defensive as well. - Low pay - slow increment - young employees won’t choose to stay in this company - Management level don’t have a say in making decisions, often, they are indecisive and soft towards employee with bad performance and bad behaviors

Pros

Nothing to write about as it is a highly toxic working environment.

Cons

- The company is run like an educational institution. - The company is run like an SME (Small Medium Enterprise) though it is a German MNC. - Power is entirely in the hands of one man and his cronies. - The top man is a control freak with zero EQ and unforgiving leadership. Figuratively speaking, he must know how much fart you let out. - Every department is just a rubber stamp with no say at all. His thinking is always right and yours is always inferior. - Employees are treated like prisoners. If you take more than 4 days of medical leave within a year, HR will interview you and your punishment is a lower quarterly bonus.

Pros

good worklife balance somewhat flexible working hours talent retention program available (mostly) respectable upper management members

Cons

Overall, a slow-paced company that might be more suitable for retirement planning. Technology development is slow, local knowledge is very poor due to strong reliance on Germany's support. Non-existent training opportunities. If you are looking for personal learning & development, u'd have better luck elsewhere. Job nature is repetitive & lack of new challenges. You pretty much lose interest 3rd year onwards. that's when all the talent retention programs come in - to tempt you to stay. Inter-department: no teamwork cross departments, office politics is common technique to shift workload & responsibilities. The department with stronger leaders win. passive-aggressive work culture. quality of middle management is very inconsistent - they are either incompetent, blindly following the top, or pushy and domineering. Intra-department: KPIs are not linked to staff's capability - we see low performing & defensive staff pulling the team down and supervisors do not care. lack of transparency in staff's career path and bonus scheme. strong tendency to penalize staff on medical & personal leaves, so much that attendance seems to be the only deciding factor for bonus allocation
