I had a very disappointing experience with the hiring process at the Charlottesville office. After completing multiple rounds of interviews (including with the CFO and MDs) and receiving a verbal offer, I was told the firm was "working on internal paperwork." I was left in limbo for nearly a month. Despite my proactive follow-ups regarding my OPT status and timeline, the communication from HR was vague and infrequent. Ultimately, the offer was rescinded weeks later without a clear explanation for the change. This lack of transparency and regard for a candidate's time—especially for international students on a strict legal timeline—is highly unprofessional.
