used to be a great company with many perks, now bought out by the bigger Legacy system

Pros

Wonderful co-workers, good vacation, cheap insurance (for a family 32.29 for dental every 2 weeks, 110.79 every 2 weeks for medical, vision is separate but I declined to take it due to cost).

Cons

no separate sick leave, Legacy took away the perks and lowered vacation time from original accrual rates, insurance is ok but don't get sick or have an emergency out of state because it's not covered!!

Small and most people friendly

Cons

The management has gone to the dogs over the past year. New managements is money oriented and nothing will stand in the way of the mighty dollar. People don't matter. You are a thing not a dedicated employee.

Pros

Great people, beautiful location. From the top down, everyone is very passionate and mission-driven. There's no question you're getting out of bed every day to change lives.

Cons

If you're not interested in a rural lifestyle, it can be tough. Silverton is BEAUTIFUL, but you have to be prepared for a little isolation.
