Pros

Nothing good here. Like previous reviewer I too was was drawn in by what seemed to be great people. I later found out they were just shady salesman.

Cons

Low pay, terrible work life balance and overall draining job. This company is shady, I was asked to lie to customers on multiple occasions about shotty work or in order to get more money out of someone when a job was bid incorrectly. Owner seems nice at first but really just over works all employees so they never have to come into work. At a small company that means you’re picking up their slack. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. No opportunity for growth.

Don't work here

Pros

Honestly none, maybe it looks good on my resume.

Cons

I worked for this company for a little over a year and to be frank, it is one of the worst jobs I have ever had. Don’t get me wrong, it seemed great at first. The owner is nice and friendly, but is not a great people manager and honestly very selfish. This was my first ‘real’ job out of college so I really had no frame of reference for what a salaried job should look like….not like this. I was always on-call, even had to work on Christmas Day and Eve. Once I was at a wedding and the owner called me 3+ times and texted me several times to have me check in on a contractor who didn’t show up to her house….no, not a client. Her OWN home. I have hundreds of other grievances, including being asked to lie to contractors and homeowners but I don’t have the bandwidth to explain them all here, however I do want to warn anyone who tries to work here that you will end up getting screwed over. I was laid off and told my position was being ‘dissolved’, got a severance package and was told I could use them as a reference. Fast forward to a week later after I had applied for unemployment and it was denied. I was livid. She lied to the TWC and said that I had been fired for XYZ; a complete 180 from what I had been told when I was let go. I am also not the only person this happened to. If you end up working here, keep track of your emails and ask for access to them if you get laid off. But also - do yourself a favor and find something better.

BEWARE!

Pros

Most of the people are great to work with.

Cons

The pay, the lack of organization, the leadership team, the hypocrisy, the shady financial dealings…if you are getting hired as a PM be prepared to markup every tiny little thing and then markup the markup and add management fees to squeeze every penny out of the clients and don’t try to get around this practice because management will push you to invoice a certain amount every week whether the work is done or not. When you start you will hear all of the pretty language they use and see their pretty website with the company values with words like wellbeing and thriving together and being impeccable with our word and then after a few months you’ll start to see the truth. It’s just like every other contractor doing poor to decent quality work and charging a premium for it..plus the management fee. Do yourself a favor and work for a bigger company that knows what they’re doing. One with competent leadership and a clear direction of where it’s going.
