Pros

Salary and compensation aligned with the position.

Cons

I joined Simpplr with high hopes and optimism, eager to contribute my skills to a company that seemed promising on the surface. However, my time here has been far from what I anticipated. Unfortunately, the negative culture, coupled with inexperienced junior executives and rampant political maneuvering, has significantly tarnished my overall experience. Culture: The company culture s nothing short of toxic. From day one, it was apparent that there was a lack of camaraderie and a pervasive sense of tension among employees. The leadership's failure to foster a positive work environment has resulted in a demoralized and disengaged workforce. Inexperienced Leadership: One of the most glaring issues is the prevalence of junior executives who lack the necessary experience for their roles. The absence of seasoned leaders has a cascading effect on the entire organization, leading to a lack of strategic direction and a failure to capitalize on opportunities. Political Maneuvering: Navigating the corporate landscape often feels more like participating in a political chess game than focusing on actual work. Decisions seem to be made based on personal alliances rather than merit, leading to frustration and disillusionment among employees. The constant political maneuvering creates an unhealthy work environment, where advancement is determined more by who you know rather than your skills and contributions.

Pros

* Benefits like internet/Telephone/Online courses reimbursement * Good Work life balance. * Some colleagues are great. * Have benefits of a small company.

Cons

Few issues I started feeling here now: 0) I joined here after going through the reviews here, but turns out to be untrue for the migration team. 1) Used to be great culture company, but now degrading day by day. 2) If you land in the migration team your work as a UI developer is nothing but just copying the code from the product which is already live. 3) You may learn a few things as a Back-end engineer but the chances are very low. You may be writing the Test cases or just writing the code as per instructions by Architects without having a minimal discussion on design. 4) The code quality is poor, your learning in that scope is very less or nothing. 5) The upper management is very unstable. Many Leaders left within months of joining. 6) The new leaders in India are micromanaging, and pushing to work beyond work hours 7) No product managers to felicitate the migration process or they hire them for US location, which leads to less productivity. 8) Most of the good developers who were in early stage of the migration project have left or are serving notice period, which is creating instability among others. 9) Frequent conflicts between contract team and migration team.

Pros

- Coworkers were nice - Was paid on time - Benefits

Cons

- Toxic work environment as working more than 8 hours a day was encouraged - Truly terrible work-life balance - The workload gets heavier and heavier - Talking to management about mental health is seen as a weakness - If you have opinions, management and leadership will take it as you complaining and will find a way to get rid of you - Untrustworthy leadership - Managers micromanage - Experienced the worst depression of my life working here
