Pros

The helpdesk team itself is great, all my co workers were amazing and helpful. There is free lunch on Wednesdays

Cons

Management is a mess. Anything management says you have to take with a grain of salt as they won’t follow through. No chances of promotion (they will make it sound like there’s a possibility fyi). Pay isn’t equivalent to the work being done, especially since they expect you to go above and beyond your current role. There is no structure. Turnover rate is extremely high.

Pros

I want to start that Greg Browning the CEO is a down to earth person. He really is a great man and practices what he preaches. He always treated me as an equal. Always talked to me and was never above me. I always appreciated that. Free lunch on Wednesday and Breakfast on Fridays. Great friends with my coworkers on the SOC team. We are still in contact and friends to this day. They have a great education program where they will pay you to gain your certs. Not enough people take them up on that.

Cons

-Fired the SOC team boss by cornering him and without warning, -This fear mongering is how they operate now, they cut people without warning and became a normal thing. Waiting to see who was cut next. We would literally joke about this by putting empty boxes in the seats of coworkers in a dark humor sort of way. Because it's that cut throat. You will be underpaid for the amount of work you do. That could be normal at an MSP but it's so under paid it's egregious. They are out sourcing more to the Philippines and cutting us more and more. You can hire four out sourced techs for one of us. The new manager of the SOC team was a friend of the CFO and was not ready to be in this position. I implore you to check how much any other MSP are paying in the Ashburn area and you will see how much they are under cutting new staff. They will pretend to want to grow internally and under the previous boss there was the opportunity. That is now gone and our friend group still updates us on who was fired next, so we can help them find a new job.
