Pros

Great salary, great team of hardworking and efficient people especially in Operations.

Cons

Upper Management cannot be trusted! No loyalty. No job security. Everyone is replaceable no matter how hardworking and talented one is.

Pros

Location, independent hotel, owned and managed no third-party ownership

Cons

General Manager is toxic, demeaning and a micromanager. This property has so much potential however with the current GM in place the property will continue to fall in stature. None of the staff is happy, they all walk on eggshells. GM plays games he will set a meeting at 2:30 start it 10 min early and tell you, you are late when you arrive at the scheduled time on your calendar. Will keep vital information from you for making decisions for business that will help the company. Always trying to put you down one way or another. Currently I have found out that this person has continued to talk or blame me for the hotel's problems, when the biggest problem starts at the top - GM!
