Pros

The people in the corporate office genuinely care about what they do and the people around them - their employees, their managers, everyone. Taking care of store staff is the highest priority. There are lots of opportunities to have fun and enjoy the workday, and plenty of opportunity to learn and put in extra effort. The company is growing at a rapid pace.

Cons

Pay on most positions lags behind industry averages.

Pros

Very quick to buy us new equipment, at the beginning. Maintenance requests are taken seriously. Offers mileage reimbursement and raises the amount per mile to adjust for gas prices occasionally. Generally respects your time off.

Cons

Huge nepotism issue. They protect their own from all complaints. Had an issue with an employee openly making racist and sexist comments, my complaint (and many more from coworkers), was dismissed. I later found out that he was the son of someone in corporate. Had similar complaints against one of their traveling GM’s in addition to abuse of power. These complains were also ignored. They will do everything to avoid written communication about complaints and regular conversation. They do not want anything they say to be recorded and used against them. Underpaid all hourly staff by about 8-10% compared to their other stores in the city. Showed blatant favoritism towards employees they hired vs employees working in stores they acquired. Impressively poor turnover rate.
