Terrible management with unrealistic expectations placed on staff. The workplace culture is toxic and hostile, with bullying behaviour from upper management creating a stressful and uncomfortable environment. Constant gossip, often coming directly from management about staff members, contributes heavily to the negativity. Upper management regularly pits team members against each other, creating unnecessary drama and tension instead of encouraging a supportive or professional workplace. Poor communication, lack of support, and constant pressure made it difficult to feel valued or respected as an employee.

Retail. Retail has its own set of demands and Skinkandy cannot escape the realities and pressure of the retail world. Some of us are just not built for it. But never once did I feel like I couldn’t express my struggles with this area of the industry and was always met with empathy and understanding and strategy to overcome the hurdles.
