SKINKANDY trained me from the very basics and supported through various career progressions including leadership programs and development. Support is an endless well, you can reach out to every person for advice, assistance and guidance. The CEO himself is contactable, name another company that invites its employees into the conversation that way. They are always seeking to understand, grow and develop all that they do for the betterment of the clients and staff.

Cons

Retail. Retail has its own set of demands and Skinkandy cannot escape the realities and pressure of the retail world. Some of us are just not built for it. But never once did I feel like I couldn’t express my struggles with this area of the industry and was always met with empathy and understanding and strategy to overcome the hurdles.

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your space. Ample opportunity for growth within the company and leaders who want to see you succeed in your role and provide coaching and support when you need it. Great recognition throughout the company.

The role offers strong autonomy in managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions, allowing you to take real ownership of hiring outcomes. There is also a clear focus on culture and brand identity, which makes it easier to attract candidates who are genuinely aligned with the business. The position provides the opportunity to influence hiring decisions and work closely with Area Managers and leadership, creating a more strategic and collaborative recruitment function.

Cons

I don’t have any major cons to highlight. It is a fast-paced environment, which may not suit everyone, but I’ve found it works well for me and keeps the role engaging.
