      Pros

      Coworkers are great, everything else is not worth it. The library is now unionized so that's a plus.

      Cons

      If you're BIPOC and drawn to this library because of DEI claims, be advised it is not the place it says it is. POC have been pushed out of this library and discriminated against for speaking up. The library refuses to publish the DEI report commissioned in 2019. It is available through FOIA though.

      - Co-workers will support you and help you find your way - Unionized workforce

      Cons

      - Admin is penny wise and pound foolish - If your manager or supervisor goes by the book, you'll get a 15 minute break while working 6 hours. Good luck scarfing down your food and practicing a healthy lifestyle - So many admin, managers, and supervisors pretend to care about you but when push comes to shove they will not have your back - Tokenize "diverse workers" as a display of so called DEI

      Good, trusting management. Nice co-workers. Flexible with part-time schedule.

      Exhausting working with the public. Hard to move up within the organization.
