Pros

Unique technology from 2003 -2007, compensation was above average until reorganization in 2008

Cons

Senior leadership did not understnd the industry SkyBitz served, expectations were unrealistic, fired employees without notice, tremendous turnover. Not much product innovation since the original product developed in 2002

Pros

Great Employees, Well stocked Refrigerator and office supply cabinet. Very self reliant job and management is not always breathing down your neck.

Cons

After SkyBitz, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telular Corp started acquiring a few other companies such as GPS North America and SmartLogix the management and sense of direction filtered down the drain. There is absolutely no leadership in this company and only specific departments understand the term teamwork. Often times we are required to lie to a client and/or partner due to the fact that transparency in the company in non-existent. Many managers have their own agendas and lack the leadership required to manage a small team. SkyBitz is a very clique type atmosphere which basically means that if you are not kissing the managers behind then you will not last long in the company. The Engineering department doesn't have a clue of what customers actually want within the application itself and tend to go off topic as well as engage enhancements in the application without undergoing processes such as quality assurance. The company is always looking to develop new products and features, but are reluctant to resolve current and existing issues that makes for a very unhappy customer. The new Customer Experience team has transformed this company into a co-worker reunion by hiring 5+ people within their personal network alone. The company was great before all of the acquisitions and loss of leadership!

Pros

There were some employees that made the environment fun.

Cons

The management was not really in touch with what was going on in the market or with products. The engineering department was a mess and outdated. This company works like it is still in the '90s. Too many employees having affairs with upper management.
