Horrible Corporate Mgt

Pros

If you stay long enough a discount on a purchase. If your store is close enough to the warehouse you can make money.

Cons

Thousands!!!!! We are paid on delivery, under the new delivery program put in place, my store only has 2 days a week for delivery. This will cost my store and me thousands of dollars a year. We use to offer 7 day a week delivery and my far the best delivery service around. New pay plan has more mentions of penalties and fines over bonus and commission. New corporate mgt hires are costing the companied hundreds of thousands of dollars, which in return cost employees thousands of dollar. 75% of work force making minimum wage under new pay plan but told we should be glad to have a job.

Pros

At the right store, great traffic and opportunities to make money. Insurance was decent for dental and eye care.

Cons

Horrible pay, several employees like myself, work 55 plus hours a week all holidays, The commission rate is a joke, selling a $4000 bed and make only $200 if customer finances. Many employees who dont waste their income are going broke working for this women. Every decision mgt makes takes more money from the employees, then you get lectured about "just not being motivated or positive" when reality people working minimum wage jobs are making more than us. Pay people a living wage, they will be less stressed and make you more money. But instead the COO founds ways to take more from us. Dont work here because you may face financial ruin.

Great Team

Pros

Very supportive team. The Territory Sales Manager is top notch, always lends a hand when asked, and will actually take phone calls from employees. Division Vice President always explains policies and changes to processes, commission changes, etc. Both have an open door (or phone line) to employees at all times. Very supportive group to work with.

Cons

Long hours, required holiday work, but that is what this business is all about.
