Pros

Sliide is a genuinely fantastic company to be a part of. The culture is, without a doubt, its greatest strength. It's incredibly collaborative, supportive, and everyone is genuinely passionate about the work. Management is approachable and truly values employee feedback, creating an environment where you feel heard and respected. The work-life balance is also excellent. The company trusts its employees to get the job done and doesn't promote a culture of micromanagement or burnout. There are great opportunities for learning and professional growth, and the team-oriented approach makes every project a rewarding experience.

Cons

It's hard to find a significant con. If I had to pick something, perhaps it's that as a growing company, things can move quickly, which means priorities can shift. However, this is just a natural part of being in a dynamic environment and is always communicated clearly.

Pros

There are some genuinely excellent people at Sliide—smart, capable, and supportive individuals who care deeply about their work and their teammates. Despite the challenges, many go out of their way to build a positive, collaborative culture within their teams. The product challenges can be engaging and fast-paced, and if you're early in your career, you’ll likely learn a lot very quickly.

Cons

Sliide is a founder-led business, and that reality shapes almost every part of the company—for better or worse. In this case, it's mostly for worse. The founders have only ever worked at Sliide, and it shows. There's a lack of outside perspective, limited understanding of industry best practices, and little appreciation for how successful product and people-led companies operate. Decision-making is top-down and often disconnected from both the realities of the work and the needs of the people doing it. While the company presents itself as mission-led, what you’ll actually be working on is ad tech—specifically, finding ways to push as many ads in front of users as possible, often without clear consent. The product direction is less about solving real user problems and more about increasing monetization through volume, regardless of the user experience. The culture suffers from this misalignment. There's a lot of effort put into maintaining a polished external image, but internally, morale is low and turnover is high. Leadership lacks emotional intelligence, product expertise, and transparency. Many employees stay only for the paycheck or because they’ve formed close bonds with colleagues—certainly not because they feel supported, empowered, or inspired by leadership.
