It frequently feels as though they spend more time on social media and non-work activities than on supporting the team. When production issues arise, junior developers are expected to work late hours and even sacrifice weekends, while the very people responsible for leading the team are often unavailable, unresponsive, or unwilling to provide meaningful support.
