Pros

Free food once a week, snacks when ever you want, some good teammates, great benefits package.

Cons

Company focuses too hard on sales and not enough on internal struggles. Lead Engineers are impossible to work with and throw tantrums.

Terrible Management and Low Morale

Pros

Pretty relaxed with work schedules.

Cons

The ratio of managers to workers is too high especially since the majority of managers are unsympathetic and delusional. We are constantly hiring, because the turn-over rate here is dramatically high, due to poor leadership and unrealistic and unbalanced workload, yet management thinks that this amount of turn-over is fine. The operations team is heavily over-worked, yet they are blamed for every failure, and lack the ability to rise in the company as there have been no internal promotions for that department. We are definitely a sales driven company, as the majority of funds and attention is given to salesmen who do not sell as much as they need to to keep this company afloat. We also waste a lot of resources in the engineering department on research and development projects that go nowhere, and are run by some of the most arrogant and childish people I have ever worked with. I never thought that I would witness the amount of grown adults throwing legit temper tantrums, including pounding their hands and feet and wailing, as I have at this company. We also have a lack of respect for minorities and women here, especially women, as they are the minority of workers, but the majority of people who leave. Management tries to say their progressive, but they have ignored the needs and complaints of women in this office, because of the camaraderie between the men who run this company. This company says it wants to grow, but are stuck in its ways and refuses to change with the times, in both ideology and technology. Our product is not bad, but it could be so much better if we stopped being delusional, and stopped lying to our clients that our product can do things it cannot do, and then wondering why clients leave us.

Pros

Free food and snacks to encourage you to stay in the office and eat at your desk. The people are wonderful.

Cons

The software is extremely dated and obsolete. It takes forever for them to accept new ideas and take steps forward. All managers micro manage, it’s in their culture. Problems trickle down to individual contributors when there is nothing they can do about it. A majority of individual contributors are young, and eager to please which causes hyper competitiveness across the company which in turn causes an extremely high turnover rate. Sales people who act like engineers and even lie about previous engineering experience, who promise things that are impossible to deliver. Granted this is because they don’t understand the complexity of the work.
