Good pay but absolutely no life balance.

Pros

Competitive base pay. Nice people who work here.

Cons

Difficult to take time off or care for children as it is frowned upon to not be accessible 24/7. Management is very tight-fisted with resources. Mgt focuses on revenue, and not much else. Many employees are overworked and seem afraid to say anything. Frightening unfriendly-to-women "business partner" that lurks in the shadows of the CEO.

Pros

Honestly, there were no Pros in my experience at SmartWatt other than the ease of getting hired. I later found out that is easy to get hired because there is so much turnover.

Cons

Poor management from the owner down. No technical support or technical understanding of the offering they are trying to sell. Minimal Marketing support. Most management positions are filled by the friends of other managers regardless of qualifications. Since the management team is inexperienced in this industry and most or inexperienced in management positions Performance Goals are set arbitrarily with no realistic metrics.

Pros

None, Zero, Zip, Nada, Zilch

Cons

SmartWatt exaggerated their position in the marketplace, exaggerated potential commissions, and withheld relevant information regarding the status of their operation. As soon as I started I learned that the business wasn't growing, business was declining and that everyone in the front office from 2015 was gone, and that all new people, including myself, were hired to replace them. Within several months after they hired me they shut down the office, laying everyone off with no notice, claiming that theres no point in continuing business. After using me and others in this despicable fashion, they declined to offer me and others any severance pay.
