      Not worth the headache

      Great location, great coworkers, some great members

      Cons

      The high up leadership team/GM can't/won't listen to anyone but the members, and regardless of how outlandish their "complaints" are, they continuously over promise and over schedule with what they have to work with and just rely on work ethic of the small staff and management group to make everything happen. It's super unrealistic and everyone is far too overworked. Also, you get a portion of the staff's tips for your "salary" which is sort of illegal and tough to rationalize when you see your team breaking down daily.

      Pros

      There are many perks that come with working at Snowmass Club. Gym usage, golf privledges, 401k benefits, and generous PTO/sick time.

      Cons

      It seems that the GM gets paid to play pickleball all day. It is disheartening to see a leader delegate all of his responsibilities to harder working managers, live on property rent free, and take 6 months of vacation a year. Zero visibility and complete disregard for what happens on property. There is also little room for growth and advancement. This is not the fault of the club, as there is not much turnover within senior leadership.
