Avoid this Company at All Cost

Pros

Emphasis on work-life balance, which was great being able to work from home

Cons

Multiple rounds of layoffs. A lack of leadership from the CEO/Founder to the absent-minded President, whose presence or "leadership" was a mystery. Middle managers are cut out of all decisions, and many are too busy trying to lord over fiefdoms than helping to bring stability or clients in the door to make this company viable.

Going down hill fast

Pros

Soapbox always did their best to make quality of life a priority. They pay over time and offer benefits like health insurance and 401K.

Cons

The management has taken a negative turn towards prioritizing corporate expansion over nurturing and growing their in-house talent. The company culture is very surface level and cliquey.

Pros

Creative people and remote work

Cons

The people in charge at the top and all managers are incompetent and contributing to the sinking ship.
